Who We Are

College for Knowledge is a Swiss association dedicated to preserving and distributing original works that have been censored, altered, or suppressed by powerful organizations.

We operate the L. Ron Hubbard Bookstore, specializing in:

  • Original L. Ron Hubbard works – unaltered texts as published during his lifetime, before the Church of Scientology rewrote them
  • Critical analysis and investigative research – independent books examining Scientology, its history, and its institutional takeover

Our Mission

We believe in three core principles:

  1. Preservation – Original works must remain accessible for historical comparison and research
  2. Transparency – Censorship should be exposed, not accepted
  3. Resistance – Legal intimidation should not silence truth

Why L. Ron Hubbard's Original Works?

Since 1972 the new Management rewrote Tech, Policy and Ethics to destroy the subject.

Comparing original to altered versions reveals what they wanted hidden.

We provide access to the originals – not the sanitized rewrites.

Why Critical Analysis?

Beyond preserving original texts, we publish and distribute critical research that examines:

  • The hostile takeover of Scientology by government infiltrators
  • The weaponization of copyright and trademark law for censorship
  • The suppression of original Scientology technology
  • The systematic rewriting of L. Ron Hubbard's works

These books – many written by our founder Andreas Gross – have been systematically censored through fraudulent DMCA claims and platform pressure.

Our Story: From Censorship to Independence

Before 2023: Building a Business

For years, I (Andreas Gross) earned a comfortable five-figure annual income selling books through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. My catalog included original L. Ron Hubbard works, critical analysis of Scientology, and other titles.

Phase 1: Shadowbanning

My books mysteriously stopped appearing in searches despite good rankings and positive reviews. Sales dried up overnight. No explanation. No notification. Just silence.

Phase 2: DMCA Takedowns

Church of Scientology entities filed DMCA notices claiming copyright on:

  • Original L. Ron Hubbard works (which are Public Domain – see our Legal Notice)
  • My own books analyzing Scientology (works they have ZERO legitimate claim to)

Filing DMCA notices for works you don't own is perjury under U.S. law.

Phase 3: Complete Account Termination

Amazon and IngramSpark didn't just remove controversial titles – they deleted my entire accounts, including many books that had nothing to do with Scientology.

Years of work. My entire catalog. My income. Gone.

2025: Fighting Back

Rather than surrender, we built this platform – hosted beyond the reach of DMCA abuse, operating under Swiss law, and committed to transparency.

They can silence platforms. They can't silence all of us.

Their Claims

The Church of Scientology claims copyright through:

  • A disputed testament (potentially forged)
  • Transfer from a dissolved entity (HASI, 1977 – no valid successor)
  • Modifications to original works (new covers, text changes, forewords)

Our Position

We maintain:

  • Original copyright holder dissolved without successor = Public Domain
  • Modified versions are no original works
  • Prove your claims in court (they won't)

The Precedent

We're not alone in this fight:

stss.nl (Netherlands): 15+ years operating, offering free LRH downloads. Church of Scientology withdrew legal threats after detailed legal correspondence.

Pattern: The Church uses DMCA abuse and platform pressure. They avoid actual courts where their claims would face judicial scrutiny.

Real courts mean:
